Itinerary:

· Day 1 Chengdu Arrival

Welcome to Chengdu, “the Land of Abundance” and “the home to Giant Panda”. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from the airport/ train station and transfer you to the hotel. If time is allowed, your guide will show you around in this amazing city.

The attractions we recommend are as follows:

Broad and Narrow Alley

It is a microcosm of the past of the ancient but vibrant city. Taking a stroll here, you can not only appreciate the quaint buildings but also taste delicious local food. It is a good place to experience Chengdu People’s laid-back lifestyle and feel the profound history of Chengdu.

People’s Park

It is an epitome of Chengdu’s laid-back atmosphere,where you can have a taste of the authentic Chinese tea and watch local people indulging themselves in playing mahjong and having casual chats. You can also have a look of the “matchmaking fair”, where you can see desperate parents search for a partner for their single children.

Tai Koo Li

It is a captivating blend of modern fashion and traditional culture, where you can not only visit various snack bars, boutiques, luxury stores but also step into the majestic Daci Temple to pray for luck and feel the Buddhist Culture.

· Day 2 Chengdu-Leshan Giant Buddha-Mount Emei

Travel by private car this morning to Leshan. After about two and a half hours, you will get to  Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest and tallest stone-carved Buddha statue in the world. Over 1,300 years ago, the Giant Buddha was built to bless the passing boats. For several decades, it has attracted flocks of travelers to witness the grand Buddha statue. When you arrive here, you can climb to the mountain top to have a closer look of the Giant Buddha or go on a cruise to catch a panoramic view of it. Afterwards, drive about 45 minutes to Baoguo Temple, the biggest temple at the foot of Mount. Emei, which is blessed with a huge porcelain Buddha, Buddhist sutras, and several beautiful plants. Wandering along the serene paths, you can appreciate beautiful scenery and soak yourself in the atmosphere of Buddhist Culture. After the sightseeing, drive a short distance to enjoy the cozy night.

· Day 3 Mount. Emei

This day is all for sightseeing in Mount. Emei. Take a tour bus to the mountain top. Once you reach at Leidongping, keep on walking to take a cable car and you will meet many naughty monkeys along the way. Then take a cable car up to the Golden Summit, where you can see an towering muti-faced golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. It is a good place to enjoy a bird’s eye- view of Mount Emei and surrounding. Explore the beautiful scenery on the mountain top and enjoy the Buddhist Culture in the Huangzang Temple nearby. Afterwards, descend to the Monastery of Ten Thousand Years, an efficacious temple where you can make wishes here. Afterwards, take a relaxing walking trip downhill and enjoy the natural beauty of the sub-tropical forest along the way.  

· Day 4 Mount. Emei-Chengdu-Departure

A Sichuan Tour would not be complete without a trip to have a look of giant pandas. In the morning, you will be driven two and a half hours to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center where you can have a close encounter with adorable pandas.Hopefully, you can catch the best time and witness them doing different things. It is a time-smart visit for you to understand pandas’ physical features and living habits.

Afterwards, we will escort you back to your hotel or send you off. If you want to extend your stay in China, we are willing to make customized tour plans for you.
