Have you ever thought of driving to China on your own? It would surely be a wonderful trip. In order to help you reduce the cost and guarantee the quality of the trip, we have prepared several inbound self-driving tour programs for you.


We can do all the preparation, including going through all the necessary procedures and applying Chinese driving license and plate. What you need to do is just to arrive at Chinese Border at the appointed time. We will be here and pick you up. Even though you cannot meet with our time, we can also tailor-made the tour for you. Itinerary


Day1: Laos-Mohan Boarder (paved road)

Cross the boarder today and meet with your guide. Then go through the procedures and obtain all the required permissions and materials. It may take the whole day!


Day2: Mohan-Yuanyang (mostly express way, about 600km)

Continue to handling these procedures. After all are done, you can get your temporal driving license and plate and drive to Yuanyang.


Day3: Yuanyang-Yanshan (paved road, about 280km)

Visit the Yuanyang rice terrace, and then drive to Yanshan, appreciating the minority people’s villages along the way.


Day4: Yanshan-Liuzhou (express way, about 700km)

Today is a long driving day. You can enjoy the scenery along the way.


Day5: Liuzhou-Yangshuo-Guilin (paved road, about 250km)

Drive to Guilin via Yangshuo. Visit the Li River and the mountains which can be seen in many Chinese paintings and films.


Day6: Guilin-Zhangjiajie(express way, about 630km)

It is another long driving day today. If time permits, you can visit Fenghuang Ancient City.


Day7: Zhangjiajie

Today, you have a full day to visit the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area and appreciate the awe-inspiring scenery of unique peaks.


Day8: Zhangjiajie-Yichang (express way, about 345km)

Continue to visit the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area in the morning. In the late afternoon, drive to Yichang.


Day9: Yichang-Wanzhou (express way, about 420km)

Drive to Wanzhou and enjoy the scenery of Yangtze River.


Day10:  Wanzhou-Dazu (express way, about 370km)

Head to Dazu and visit the Dazu Grottoes.


Day 11: Dazu-Leshan-Chengdu (express way, about 300km)

Head to Leshan Giant Buddha. Afterwards, visit Chengdu panda base.


Day12: Chengdu-Guangyuan (express way, about 377km)

Head to Guangyuan and visit the ancient Shu Road, which is famous for its rugged and dangerous terrain. If time permits, visit the Zhaohua Ancient Town.


Day13: Guangyuan-Xi’an (express way, about 466km)

Drive to Xi’an and have a free walk in Xi’an.


Day14: Xi’an

You have a whole day to visit Xi’an. The Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall are recommended attractions.


Day15: Xi’an-Pingyao (express way, about 510km)

Drive to Pingyao Ancient City, one of the best reserved ancient cities in China. On arrival, visit the ancient city.


Day16: Pingyao-Beijing (express way, about 575km)

Drive to Beijing, the capital city of China.


Day17: Beijing

Full day city tour in Beijing. You can visit the Forbidden city, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace and so on.


Day18: Beijing-Ulanqab (express way, about 359km)

Today, you will visit the Badaling Great Wall. After the visit, drive to Ulanqab.


Day19: Ulanqab-Erenhot (express way, about 330km)

Head to Erenhot, a border city. After finishing all the procedures, cross the border to Mongolia.



Price for Join-in Tour:  US $ 3560 per car

Note: The Price is based on one car with two passengers, and only one driving license provided. If there are more passengers in the car, extra US $ 200.00/ per person will be charged.


Price Inclusion

1.Handling all the required documents and materials are included.

2.One English speaking guide. It is necessary for him to take a seat in one of the cars, so there must be one seat for him. He pays for his meals and accommodation himself.  

3.Travelers’ accident injury insurance with the highest refund of ¥ 100,000.00.  

4.The temporal driving license and driving plate of the car in China. We provide only one free temporal driving license for each car, and US $ 75 per person will be charged for the extra driving license.

5.Free visa invitation letter.

6.Traveler’s travel injury insurance.

7.Obliged vehicle insurance with the highest refund of ¥ 2000.00 for property and ¥ 100,000.00 for the third people killing.

8.Compulsory Vehicle Insurance with the highest refund of ¥ 100,000.00 and ¥ 2000.00 respectively if you're at fault for the damage done to someone else's person or property.

9.The deposit required by China Customs.


Price Exclusion

1.Car rental fee and all the fees about your vehicles (including but not limited to toll fee, fuel fee, parking fee and vehicle maintenance charges)

2.Your accommodations and attraction tickets. If you choose to live in a hotel, you have to pay the hotel expenses by yourself.

3.China visa (and China visa extension fees).

4.All the personal medicinal costs.

5.All the other costs not mentioned above.


Files We Need from You

1.The name of your organization or travel agency, including your name, nationality, address, contact, and the purpose of your visit.

2.The vehicle’s files: Two pictures of each side of your vehicle (its front, back and two sides). The copy of the original vehicle's registration paper. You also need to state clearly about the vehicle, including its brand, place of production, engine number, chassis number, its price, the driving plate in your country, and the name of its owner.  

3.The driver’s files: his/her name, nationality, gender, occupation, passport numbers (All of them should accord with the information on the passport). The copy of the original qualified driving license and its photo, which will be used to obtain the temporary driving license.    

4.The information of passengers, including their names, nationalities, gender, occupations, passport numbers and copies of passport.      

5.The photo of the safety/emissions inspection certificate of your vehicle.


Note

1.You can send all the scanning copies of the files to us by email.

2.The driver should obey the Chinese traffic laws.

3.The overland travel we provided is only for sightseeing tours friendly. Any illegal activity will be punished. You can’t take photos or videos of the military bases and do anything violating China’s national security.

4.It is not easy to get an approval of your applications, so we suggest that you should prepare for it as early as possible to ensure everything goes well.

5.The information about road location, distance and time are only for reference.


Special Attention for Agreement

1.As all of you are in a group tour, all the travelers and vehicles should be together. You should stay together all the time and you can’t travel alone. Compromise is necessary during this tour.

2.The route has been confirmed, so you cannot change it except under special circumstances.

3.There may be unforeseen circumstances during the tour, so the total number of days you stay in China will be flexible. To ensure that you can successfully apply for an entry permit to another country, please allow time for your application in advance.
